Central Ohio Professional Pet Sitters (C.O.P.P.S.) is a business network of independently owned and operated pet sitting service companies. Following several years of informal meetings, the network has evolved into a group of experienced, knowledgeable, professional business owners. We became an organized group in 1998, when the pet sitting industry was still in its infancy in Central Ohio.

C.O.P.P.S. continues to grow and change with the times. Our members are involved in rescue organizations, various business groups, mentoring new pet sitting businesses, educating pet owners and participating in community events.

Mission Statement

To provide business-related support and information to its members, to offer a support system of friends and peers, and to build public awareness of the pet sitting industry within Central Ohio while continuing to promote pet education, welfare and happiness.

Goal

To educate the community regarding pet sitting services, attract new members, and continue to educate ourselves in all aspects of pet health and pet care.
